My most cooperative model...me! Cooperative, needs no small-talk, will work as long as I want, AND very reasonably priced! It was interesting to be "watching" a series of YouTube videos of a panel of today's foremost representational artists discuss the merits/disadvantages of painting from life vs. painting from photographs, ALL THE WHILE I'm painting a self-portrait from from life. If it looks a little "off" to those who know me, understand that this is a mirror image - the way I see myself in a mirror, which is different from the way you see me.
